Words: 400
Series: K*SINR [original]
Pairings/Characters: Reichou/Sharylnn

It was the crazy things about Reichou that Sharlynn guessed was what made him…irresistible? She wasn’t sure. Quite honestly, she could care less about him. He annoyed her with his pathetic attempts at wooing her, and he often received a beating as punishment. She was beginning to think that he was masochist or something because he kept coming back with a bouquet of blooming red roses in hand and a wide, beaming smile on his childish face.

She wasn’t sure about him, and she didn’t think she ever would be.

Most girls would adore him. He wrote her songs, gave her flowers, treated her like a person, and just sent all his love to her every chance he could. But she wasn’t like most girls; she just wanted to murder her older brother, get revenge on a list of people, and just get life over with already.

So when she retreated to her room for the day—after teaching Neko how to cook tuna casserole and Kouryou to make a simple sandwich, much to her distaste—she wasn’t all too surprised to find a sheet of college-ruled lined paper covered in words of black ink with a cassette tape on top of it on her desk. He had written her a song again, and this time he recorded it—he didn’t do that too often, if she remembered correctly.

With a sigh, she put the tape in a box under her bed—it was full of the tapes he did give her, none of them listened to—and took the paper to read at her desk. The title made her scoff. “Up A Lazy River With Me.” What kind of title was that?

As she read the song, she realized it was very much a Reichou-title, and this song was probably the best he had written her. It was obvious that he had just come to a realization about her.

She wanted peace, quiet, and plenty of alone time.

And that’s what this song was about. Only that he was inviting her to be with him, saying he’d take good care of her but keep her wants and needs for alone-time in mind.

Otherwise, this obsessive dork wasn’t like most guys. Most guys would try to change that alone-time thing about the girl they liked.

Reichou wasn’t like most guys.

And Sharlynn for once felt that she could learn to love him.
